A couple of weeks ago I enabled the My Favs tab at the top. I didn’t want to say anything because I was curious whether people would notice it on their own. I chuckled because it appeared that the people most likely to click on it were the new readers that I recently gained. To the other people, it went largely unnoticed. I added the My Favs tab because I realize that with over 600 posts now, people are unlikely to bother to take the time to read much of the older stuff. It’s a pretty daunting task, even if you were so inclined to do so. But there are some of those posts that I particularly liked, and thought that I would make note of… if someone was new to the blog and wanted to take a look at what *I* considered some of my better posts, then they were easily identified. That list is far from complete. I was working on it during my nightshifts, but haven’t added anything to it since I took my leave. You can expect it to be added to shortly.
The second new tab is called Resources, and is exactly just that… an evolving list of tools that I use online that I think people would be interested in. I periodically write posts about different tools that I think would be useful, but the Resource tab is a place to look quickly and get a feel for how I do things. You should take a look. There might be something there that you can add to your online toolbox. And if you have a favourite piece of software that I haven’t mentioned, please send me an email through the contact form.
Thanks for reading!
