The New Two and a Half Men

Published September 20, 2011 - 4 Comments

I sat down to watch last night’s season premiere of Two and a Half Men, like I suspect that I great many people did… just to see.  See how the show would transition from Charlie Sheen to Ashton Kutcher.

I have to say, without giving anything away… I got more laughs from the ensemble of cameo appearances than I did from Kutcher’s character… other than the ending, which I admit was pretty damn funny.

If you’re looking for someone to come in and pick up where Charlie left off, then you’ve got the wrong show.  This new character is about as polar opposite of Charlie Sheen as you can get, without adding breasts.  And even that might still be closer than what you’ve got with “Walden”.

Was it horrible?  No… but I think that it’s going to take some time before it feels like less of a “guest appearance”.

I’d love to know what other people thought of the show.  And don’t worry if we leave spoilers in the comments… no one reads them anyway!  (except me, of course)
